The Cirilians are the master engineers of the Zohar System. On a planet rapidly losing its land to rising tides, they didn't flee—they built. But beneath the shimmering beauty of their floating metropolises lies a society gripped by grief and an authoritarian regime that watches every move.

Here is your guide to the Cirilians of Rhe.

Geography & Atmosphere

Home World: Rhe (5th Planet from Zohar) Classification: Hycean Planet (95% Water) Capital: The Dusanis Republic (Governing Body)

Rhe is a world dominated by water. It is a stunning, blue marble orbited by two moons, Kneda and Zedal, and the famous Ril Space Station.

  • The Oceans: The planet is divided into two major bodies of water: the turbulent Oclares Ocean and the serene Eboras Sea.

  • The Land: Only 5% of the surface is land. These islands are strictly reserved for agriculture (cultivating Yico fields) and massive manufacturing plants.

  • The Floating Cities (The Pods): To survive land erosion, the Cirilians built massive City Pods.

    • Scale: Each pod is 80 km in diameter and extends 2 km beneath the ocean surface.

    • Design: The surface levels feature stunning tropical landscapes. Ingenious light conduits capture sunlight and funnel it deep into the lower levels, ensuring even the submerged districts have light.

Politics: The Silent Coup

The Cirilian government calls itself a Republic, but in practice, it is a totalitarian dictatorship ruled by the Kral.

The Puppet and The Power

  • Tamoria Monnol (The De Facto Leader): The widow of the beloved former leader, Tielo. While she holds the formal position of authority, her influence has been eclipsed by her new husband.

  • Culs Knal (The Kral): A former regional leader who married Tamoria shortly after her husband's death. He holds the title of Kral, giving him unrestricted dominion over the military, finance, and infrastructure.

The "Contract of Existence." The political framework is brutally simple: Contribution is mandatory. Every citizen must "earn" their right to exist on Rhe. The government assigns careers at birth based on the state's needs. in exchange for unwavering labor, the government provides food, water, and housing. Dissent is not just illegal; it is treated as a breach of the social contract, punishable by disappearance or death.

History: The Tragedy of Tielo

The Cirilians were once governed by the Monnol Family Monarchy and the Dusanis Republic, a system that balanced royal tradition with community representation.

The Golden Age Under Tielo Monnol, the society thrived on communal spirit. Tielo was a beloved leader who believed in shared labor; once a year, he would leave his palace to work manual jobs alongside his citizens in a nationwide celebration of unity.

The Factory Incident During one of these celebrations, a mysterious explosion at a factory killed Tielo and many key political figures. The nation was plunged into deep mourning.

The Rise of Culs Knal A year later, the grieving widow Tamoria shocked the nation by marrying Culs Knal.

  • The Construction Miracle: Culs gained popularity by spearheading the City Water Pods project to save the population from land erosion.

  • The Purge: Using his newfound influence, Culs convinced Tamoria to make him Kral. Immediately after, Dusanis members who questioned his lineage or motives began to die under mysterious circumstances or vanish entirely. Today, Culs possesses unrivaled power, surpassing even the Monnol bloodline.

Gastronomy: Bounty of the Oclares

Cirilian cuisine is strictly pescatarian and agrarian, relying on the planet's vast oceans and the hydroponic "Yico" zones.

  • Blackened Pontogalenas: A spicy, seared dish made from the Longnose Pontogalena, a fish common in the Eboras Sea.

  • Hard-Shell Stuffed Sarma: A large crustacean from the turbulent Oclares Ocean, steamed and stuffed with herbs and grains.

  • Eboras Fried Trolusk: Breaded and deep-fried mollusks. A cheap, popular comfort food in the lower city levels.

  • Neymar Mound: A hearty, carb-heavy mash (likely root vegetables or grains) served as a filling side dish.

  • Yicoberry Tea: A tart, soothing tea brewed from berries grown in the Yico fields.

  • Greenmoss Cream: A sweet, silky dessert pudding made from processed sea algae.

Culture & Society

Life in the Strata Life on Rhe depends entirely on which "layer" of the City Pod you inhabit.

  • The Surface (The Tropical Tier): Reserved for the elite and high-ranking officials. Lush greenery, open skies, and luxury.

  • The Middle Strata: Spacious homes and dedicated transport networks for the skilled middle class.

  • The Deep Levels (The Underbelly): As you descend, the pleasant ambiance vanishes. The bottom layers are turbulent, neon-lit slums filled with surveillance drones, illicit drug dens, and "entertainment" districts meant to numb the pain of the labor force.

Surveillance State The Dusans (formerly advisors, now enforcers) chart every child's life from birth. Whether you will be a fisherman in the Oclares Ocean, a Yico farmer, or an engineer is decided for you.

  • Travel Restrictions: Off-world travel is permitted but strictly vetted. Citizens must adhere to rigid return dates, or face consequences.
