History

The V’nu Fellowship achieved remarkable technological advancements, largely attributed to their utilization of ancient artifacts uncovered in the Keenluma Crystals region. Pioneering interstellar travel, the V’nu race successfully embarked on their inaugural journey to S’erebus, an inhabitable moon. Following the triumphant terraforming of S’erebus II, they proceeded to establish colonies on the remaining five moons within the system. Fueled by the belief that the artifacts held untapped potential for power and technological revelations, the Fellowship diligently explored the Zohar System, cultivating relationships with other civilizations in the hopes of uncovering more relics scattered throughout diverse worlds. Among these interactions, a fleeting alliance was formed with the Arczuuks.

After numerous productive years of collaboration between the two races, the Arczuuks granted the V’nu Fellowship permission to terraform one of their moons. However, unbeknownst to the Arczuuks, the true objective of the V’nu was to uncover relics on this particular moon. Tragedy struck when a catastrophic accident unfolded due to a miscalculation, resulting in a devastating explosion on the moon. Debris from the explosion entered the atmosphere of Corbic, leading to the loss of tens of thousands of lives as these fragments crashed into populated regions on the planet's surface. This catastrophic event ignited a prolonged conflict between the Arczuuks and the V’nu, spanning across the Boreas Asteroid Belt for years. Eventually, after an immense toll of casualties, both factions begrudgingly agreed to bring an end to the hostilities. This brutal war played a pivotal role in catalyzing the formation of the New Genesis Union Treaty.

Politics

The Fellowship establishes a hierarchy where those possessing exceptional intellect ascend to the upper echelons of authority. However, when confronting the intricacies of intelligence and the foundations of scientific thought, they overlook the ethical dimensions of scientific advancement. At the forefront of this organization stands Khura Ym’ue, their esteemed leader, who holds the conviction that the Fellowship comprehends the optimal path for the inhabitants of the Zohar System. With her extensive knowledge, they aspire to guide civilization away from its potential pitfalls.

The Legate consists of Khura Ym’ue and a hundred accomplished scientists, forming the governing body vested with high-level decisions. To ensure effective governance, each sector is governed by its own regional officials. Notably, individuals occupying leadership positions are prohibited from entering into marital unions, although a rare few indulge in secret bonds that mimic what is commonly referred to as marriage.

Culture

The V’nu society thrives on a culture of competitiveness, driven by the necessity to fulfill prerequisites for governmental positions, voting rights, and various societal roles. Government roles are exclusively reserved for the top ten percent of intellectuals, while the subsequent fifty percent can partake in voting and non-labor occupations. The remaining segment of the population undertakes labor-intensive jobs, which unfortunately bear a stigma.

Instances of crime and hunger are exceedingly rare within this society. Parental love for their children is evident, yet there exists a continuous emphasis on acquiring knowledge, recognized as a potent source of influence. The children who excel academically receive heightened attention, often fostering a healthy sibling rivalry.

The Soporifus Region holds immense reverence among the V’nu race. Adorned with magnificent, vibrant Zylonus Spireaeva Trees, this area serves as a sacred ground. Each Zylonus Spireaeva Tree symbolizes a burial site. Subsequently, the deceased are interred, eventually becoming a Zylonus Spireaeva Tree. When an individual passes away, their family spends days in the wilderness performing age-old rituals near the burial site.

Planet

Aeolus, the fourth celestial body orbiting the star Zohar, is a verdant, forested world that serves as the homeland of the V'nus. "Often hailed" as the crown jewel of its solar system, Aeolus boasts stunning rings that captivate observers upon approach. Its surface is a lush tapestry of emerald grass, with tall, cloud-like trees filling the deep valleys and rivers meandering through them like life-giving arteries, eventually emptying into oceans tinted in shades of lavender. The planet is further adorned with flowers of every hue, adding to its breathtaking beauty. Talos serves as the capital city, and Aeolus is circled by seven moons: Funara, S'erebus, S'erebus II, S'erebus III, Ivamis, Nonule, and Tnor.
